ELI Student Application

We are currently accepting applications for the following sessions:

Application Form

Instructions

  1. Complete and submit this form to the ELI by clicking on the submit button at the bottom of the form. (Do not email this page to us; use the submit button. If you email it, we will receive a blank form.)
  2. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your online application 24 to 48 hours after you submit it. The email will contain your login name and password to log into myELI.
  3. Pay the non-refundable $125 application fee. We also accept bank checks or money orders by mail.
  4. Upload  these documents to myELI:
  • Formal proof that you have completed secondary education (transcript or copy of diploma). You must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. high school diploma before you start classes. Proof of university study or graduation can also be accepted.
  • Proof of finances if applying for a student (F-1) visa. Use the ELI’s Certificate of Financial Responsibility found on this page. The total estimated cost for each semester is provided in the Certificate of Financial Responsibility and our Calendar.  Financial documents must be in English.
  • A copy of your passport and passport copies of any dependents (spouse and/or children)

This is to certify that the Guarantor named below will be fully responsible for all expenses of the student named below during his/her studies at the University of Florida's English Language Institute. The following should be filled out by the Guarantor. Submitting this information constitutes acceptance of this agreement. Students intending to study on a student (F-1) visa should fill this information and submit a completed Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR). Non-F1 students do not need to submit a CFR, but should fill out the information below.
